Bangladesh's Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has made some major changes in her cabinet . She has removed Altaf Hossain Chowdhury from Home Ministry to Commerce Ministry. Mr Chowdhury was widely criticised for his repeated failures to assure law and order in Bangladesh. Commerce Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was removed from his post and has not been assigned any other ministry. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury was criticised for his apparent failure to control price hike in Bangladesh but he was considered as a very efficient minister in trade and commerce. State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Riaz Rahman , a former diplomat has also been reassigned as an advisor .
