President Bush's Press Conference on Tuesday, says US has a specific historical role to perform in Iraq and the Middle East as it has done in the past in Europe and Latin America. Mr Chowdhury said that US is fighting in Iraq for freedom , democracy and human rights in that country as well as in the region. The republican official feels that, despite casualties in Iraq, election results are not going to be affected by Iraq War because both the parties in the US had taken bipartisan decision to go for War in Iraq.
