Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia leaves here for Shanghai on Monday to lead a high-power delegation to the Global Learning Process and Conference on Scaling Up Poverty Reduction from May 25-27.
The Conference, jointly organised by China and World Bank, will focus on various measures for poverty alleviation taken by different countries and facilitate exchange of their experiences.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Finance and Planning Minister Saifur Rahman, Education Minister Dr Osman Faruk, Adviser for Foreign Affairs Reaz Rahman, PM’s Political Secretary Haris Chowdhury, PM’s Principal Secretary Dr Kamal Siddiqui, senior government officials and distinguished personalities.
