Reaction to Trinamul Congress -- sponsored 12 hours strike in West Bengal was mixed. The strike was called to protest against Pre-litigation Conciliation Board Bill and higher prices of everyday goods. Miss Mamata Banerjee said that the Bangla bandh was totally successful and thanked Kolkata residents for that. On the other hand CPI-M state secretary Mr. Anil Biswas said there was not much impact in the state.
