The judicial inquiry commission on the August 21 terror attack yesterday claimed in its report to have an idea about the perpetrators of the bomb attack. The report said police neglected to do its job but there was no gun fire on the opposition leader's car.
"The incident is a naked attack on the independence and sovereignty of the country," head of the one-member commission Justice Joynul Abedin told reporters.
Commission secretariat officials submitted the 162-page report to the home secretary in the afternoon.
