Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf has urged President Bush to work to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
General Musharraf made the appeal on Friday in a message of congratulations to Mr. Bush for his re-election.
The Pakistani president said if the main causes of terrorism are resolved, a new era of peace can begin.
General Musharraf offered President Bush support in achieving shared objectives of peace and prosperity.
