Anwar Shahadat, a Bangladeshi American independent filmmaker has made several short films including “As it Should Be”, “Falling Leaves”, “Ticket” and “Printer Perfect”. Mr. Shahadat was a political and diplomatic correspondent for “Ajker Kagoj” in Dhaka before moving to New York. Anwar Shahadat is the author of the highly acclaimed novella “Hele Chashar Joal Brittanto.” In this first part of the interview Mr. Shahadat speaks about his writing and his short films.
