Topic: Are Rohingyas still living in peace at Cox’s bazar refugee camp?
Translation Summary: A forcibly displaced Rohingya, unwilling to inform his identity told VOA about the current situations of the camp where he mentioned that some unexpected incident created conflicts almost 3 months ago causing the death of 8 people and injury to many. Now with the decision of Bangladesh Government authority for deployment of law enforcement authority, the situation is better. . He said,” Now situation is normal in the daytime. We still fear going out at nighttime though there are enough streetlights there. People can roam around and do shopping and others at daytime. Police and army always visit place to place that helps more for the people to feel safe. I personally left my place when there was clash out of fear. This problem should be stopped, and Bangladesh government can make a proper way for it”.
