Topic: Repeated fires in refugee camps are destroying Rohingyas.
Translation Summary: Another fire at the Balukhali camp on 12 April caused panic among ordinary Rohingyas. Saidul Alam from Camp 5 said repeated fires in refugee camps are destroying Rohingyas. The Rohingya are now more concerned with how to save their lives and how to protect their families from the fire. He also said we still don't know why the fires are happening again and again. We hope that the Bangladesh government will provide security to the Rohingyas by properly investigating why the fires are taking place in the shelters of helpless people.

Topic: How Rohinhyas in Cox’s Bazar camp and Bhashan Char observing this holy month of Ramadan
Translation Summary: This is the fourth time that Rohingya’s who have fled to Bangladesh since 2017 are observing Ramadan. More than fourteen thousand Rohingyas are now relocated to Bhashan Char and observing this month on that island. Mohammad Arman from Bhashan Char said,” We’ve got food packages for this month and we’ve heard that we will get clothing by the end of this month. We are happy here. But we miss our relatives and other neighbors who are living in kutupalong camp”.
Mohammad Shafik from kutupalong camp 3 also shared some talks regarding ramadan. He said,” In our camp 3, there are about 25 thousand shelters and someone donated food for this month for 10 thousand people. Some got many and some did not, and some got for few days. Food packages consists of Chickpea, oil, dates and some other stuff. People here in the camp are always dependent on ration food. We don’t have other way of getting extra food for us. Besides many people including our relatives have lost their loved ones and their shelters in the fire tragedy and we are very sad for this. We are surrounded by problems. We ask aid organizations and authority to put their concern on us”.
