So, we some educated Rohingya youths and matriculation passed students have formed Rohingya Education Development Plan-REDP and are teaching the Rohingya children who have been deprived of educational facilities in the camp since 2018. Besides, Ayas added that we Rohingya are citizens of Arakan, Myanmar that's why REDP is teaching the children from Grade 01 to Grade 09 in the Burmese curriculum. And hopes that every child can have continuously educational access after returning to Arakan Burma as well. Ayas said again that there are above 70 teachers and about 1500 students under REDP. So, REDP is making the children aware of COVID-19 and teaching them health guidelines. But there are no places, and teaching materials such as whiteboards, books, pens, badges, and others in the camp. Moreover, children are not improving in education despite NGOs/Agencies are teaching for nearly four years that's why we Rohingya are very much concerned about it. And wanted to request the international community to ensure formal educational facilities, qualified teachers , and other facilities for the Rohingya children in the camp.
