Rice Faces Second Day of Confirmation Hearings

President George W. Bush’s nominee for US Foreign Secretary Dr. Condoleezza Rice in the second day of her confirmation hearings in front of the Senate foreign relations committee continued to defend Bush administration’s Iraq policy.

Dr. Rice was questioned about faulty pre-war intelligence on Iraq. Senators also expressed concern over the slow pace of training Iraqi security forces.
