The five-day Durga Puja, religious festival for the Hindus, ended on Thursday with the immersion of Durga idols in the capital and elsewhere in Bangladesh. Hundreds of believers joined in a long procession and paraded the city streets with idols of deity Durga and immersed the Pratimas in the river Buriganga. Zahurul Alam has more on the story.
