The Haldia Port of the Indian state of West Bengal is under severe crisis because of the problem in water –flow. It may create severe crisis in the movement of ships to and from this port. Specially the Oil Jetty of the Haldia port has been worst affected. Most of the raw materials for the petrochemical industries arrive in this Jetty. Port authority feels that the other Jetties could also be affected badly.
