The successor of Anil Biswas , the state secretary of West Bengal , has not been named yet. Mr Biswas died on Sunday after being in coma for over a week. The General Secretary of the party informed that Mr Biswas’s successor will be named after a memorial service at the Shaheed Minar at Kolkata.
Three party leaders Biman Basu, Nirupam Sen and Madan Ghosh are in the race for this prestigious position.
