The Bagmara police arrested eight operatives of Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh on Thursday.
The militants were arrested in a special drive of police on Thursday night.
Officer-in-charge of Bagmara police station, Mirza Golam Sarwar told newsmen on Friday that all the arrested were listed JMB militants. Locals said, the arrestees were close associates of JMB kingpin Bangla Bhai who was now on death row.
