BDR, BSF Officials Begin Meeting in Bogra, Bangladesh

High officials of the Bangladesh Riffles (BDR)and the Border Security Force (BSF) of India met at a Deputy Director General level border meeting and agreed to exchange between them information of terrorists of the both countries.

The three-day border conference began at a local hotel of Bogra town. BDR Deputy Director General Brigadier General M A Bari led the 12-member Bangladesh side while IG of BSF North Bengal Frontier IG R A Tewary led the 16-member Indian side.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to take effective measures to stop illegal cross-border trafficking specially movement of terrorists as well as to check smuggling of fake notes, various drugs and narcotics including Phensydl.
