In view of the present food crisis in Bangladesh , the government has asked for more food aid from USAID .
The US Embassy in Dhaka says that the request has been forwarded to Washington , and it is being considered. USAID has already given a food aid to Bangladesh worth 32 million dollars. It has also helped Bangladesh during the SIDR Relief activities.
