Police in eastern India say a bomb blast has killed four people in a Kolkata slum.
Authorities ruled out terrorism as a motive for the explosion on Sunday.
They say the device, described as a crude bomb, was left at a garbage dump, and that it exploded when it was disturbed by scavengers.
