Coal India has objected to Bengal government about a one hundred billion rupees project that is to come up atop a prime coal reserve.
This project was going to be a massive developmental project. However as the coal reserve lies beneath the ground where the project has to start , this project is likely to stalled soon.
The Coal India says that with the country suffering
from severe coal shortage, a project permanently blocking a 5301 million tons
of coal block will be suicidal. The government has not yet responded to this
objection.
