We regret to announce the death of Tariqul Islam Tarun who till his death on October 20,2008 had been a relentless activist of the VOA fan club in Bangladesh.
Tariqul Islam Tarun , had been perhaps the most active fan club leader in Bangladesh who took initiatives in promoting VOA Bangla Service amongst the audience in Bangladesh . Tarun was the organizing Secretary of VOA Fan Club in Bangladesh. Although he came from a small city in Bangladesh called Narayanganj , he took initiatives to promote VOA Bangla Service through out Bangladesh.
Lately Tarun was suffering from stomach cancer and passed away leaving behind unforgotten memories for so many of his fans . The staff members of VOA Bangla Service pay rich tributes to Tarun and pray for his departed soul.
