At least 20
people have been killed and more than 1000 injured in different post-election
violence across the country between supporters of the country's two main
political parties.
The post election violence that
goes unabatedly across the country might deteriorate further on the eve of
upazila elections, political analysts apprehended.
They said if the present violent
situation could not be checked politically then the situation might deteriorate
seriously after the upazila elections on January 22.
The violence between the
activists of the victorious Awami League and its rival Bangladesh Nationalist
Party (BNP) is reported to have continued across the country.
