Rajshahi Medical College and Rajshahi Government College were declared closed for an indefinite period after clashes at Rajshahi University between Bangladesh Chhatra League and Islami Chhatra Shibir.
One person was killed and more than 50 were injured during the clashes.
The students were asked to vacate their dormitories by 5:00pm.
