Language movement veteran and freedom fighter, Gaziul Haque, was laid to rest with state honors at his family cemetery in Bogra.
Earlier, his namaz-e-janaza was held and his body was kept at the Shaheed Minar for people wishing to pay their last respects.
Gaziul Haque passed away on Wednesday in Dhaka after a prolonged illness.
