Subrata Mukherjee, a former mayor and current working president of the Pradesh Congress has decided to rejoin Trinamool.
Five years ago he left Mamata Banerjee's party to return to his original party, the Congress. He said he is protesting against Congress` failure to forge alliance with TMC for the upcoming municipal election.
Mr. Mukherjee is also a veteran labor leader.
