n all-party meeting suggested a new name for West Bengal. But, there is a volley of protest against the new name `Paschimbanga` which is just a Bengali translation of `West Bengal`. One special reason to call the new unsuitable is the concern that most non-Bengalis will not be able to correctly pronounce the new name which will be a tongue twister for them. So, there is a re-thinking about selecting a new name.
