Bangladesh has signed a deal with Russia for the country's first nuclear power plant to be set up and expected to start by 2012. On Feb 24, Bangladesh signed a framework agreement with Russia for setting up the power plant at Pabna's Rooppur, following parliament's approval on Dec 9 last year.
