T Kumar, Director, International Advocacy Amnesty International USA talked about the torture of innocent Bangladeshis at the Indian border areas. Amnesty statement released Friday stated that dozens of Bangladeshis are tortured or ill treated after being picked up by the India Border Security Forces (BSF) every month. T Kumar said - "we are also concerned that the Bangladesh government and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have not taken strong actions against these abuses. By the end of the day it is their responsibility to see that the Bangladeshis are not abused anywhere in the world or in their own country".
