Bangladesh is celebrating the 41st anniversary of it’s independence today March, 26.Bangladeshis living abroad are also celebrating the day.Bangladeshi association of New York has taken up special programs for the day. Michigan Bangladesh Association honored American Tom Dine and his wife Joann Dine at a special function Sunday evening for their help to the Liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971. Tom was a congressional aide then with Senator Saxby. Tom not only helped Bangladeshis living in the USA then but also assisted in doing PR and communicating with the Congressional leaders of that time .
