Topic: Saudi Arabia has donated nearly a half-million kilos of lamb meat to forcibly displaced Rohingyas in Bangladesh. Monowara Begum, who lives in Kutupalong Registered Camp, was delighted to collect a 12-kilo package from a distribution site at a madrasa Tuesday. “This type of donation is not regular,” said Begum, who is more accustomed to staples such as rice, lentils and palm oil. Camp committees informed residents of the donation; Begum said each package contains enough meat for seven households.
