Translation Summary: A Rohingya, who is unwilling to mention name and lives in the largest city Yangon said to VOA that the situation is dire around the Yangon, Mandalay, Naypyidaw and other cities of Myanmar. Myanmar’s military, police and others arms force are shooting machine gun directly to the people. And the forces of SAC are being helped by helicopter flying over the town of the states, division of Myanmar. They shoot and arrest. So, on 3-March-21, more than 12 people were shot dead by the Myanmar’s military in Yangon. Many people have been injured and about 200 people have been arrested too by the Myanmar’s brutal military here in Yangon. He also said the people of Yangon run here and there to escape the oppressions of Myanmar’s military whole day. But I am not sure that the media could cover real information or not because many journalists are being arrested too. Mohammed Shoaib, a Rohingya youth from Kutupalong camp said to VOA that we Rohingya are the citizens of Myanmar. We have faced torture; oppression and violence by Myanmar’s brutal military. And then he said that as per my knowledge goes Myanmar’s military will never adhere to the calls by the USA, UK and the international organizations until they are taken to the International Court of Justices(ICJ). So, he said that International Community should take action against Myanmar’s military under the jurisdiction of International Court of Justices(ICJ) and International Criminal Court (ICC) after ensuring R2P- Responsible to Protection in Myanmar is to halt the brutality of its government on its peoples and to ensure federal democracy in Myanmar.
