Aziza said that people of the camp were used to believe in religion that’s why Gender Base Violence and other issues such as divorce, early marriage, mental torture and so on were increasing against women in the camp. Also, MoWCA’s team have to face various challenges in counseling and make the people understand about violence against women as they had no confidence in MoWCA. Finally, Aziza said that MoWCA has been providing services to Rohingya to redress and prevent violence against women and then solving the multi-faceted problem of violence against women through counseling and rehabilitation. Also, MoWCA has been providing Rohingya with psycho-social supports, legal cases and general supports tagging with different NGO/Agencies and the cooperation of Camp-In-Charge of the camp.
