Topic: A Rohingya from Cox’s Bazar camp says how majority Rohingya youths are suffering during this pandemic.
Children and youth consist half of the population among Rohingyas in the camp. As Rohingyas are temporarily living here provided some needs but this isn’t fulfilling all basic needs. Government is slowly advancing learning centers to grade 9 schooling for the children but pandemic stopped it. . Mohammad Shafik, a youth living in kutupalong camp said,”Before lockdown youths had some doors of work open but now all are closed. They can’t work, can’t roam around the camp, no recreational facilities for them. Their parents are worried if their children might fall into the wrong path and wrongly misguided. Rohingya parents are urging to the government to establish varieties of beneficial activities for the youths so that they can develop themselves and it would impact on their future”.

Translation Summary: - Nurul Alam resident of Balukhali camp# 09 said that people who are aged 55 and above are being vaccinated in the camp. They have also been informed that in the second phase the people who are aged 25 and under 55 will be vaccinated. Alam said, due to the congestion in the camp Covid-19 is spreading fast. So, the vaccination campaign is helpful. He hopes that all the people will be vaccinated.
Moreover, Alam said that Myanmar military regiment has denied Vaccination for the Rohingya in Arakan state , all the rest of people are vaccinated in Myanmar. Alam added that Arakan Army and the military regime there are committing genocide again on Rohingya in Arakan without giving them vaccinations.
