Professor Shamsul Wares is a distinguished architect and a former professor in the BUET. He is presently visiting US on the invitation of Catholic University of Washington. His lecture was attended by Bangladeshi architects as well as the faculty and the students of the university. He spoke about the state of architecture in South Asia. He also talked about a film on Louis Kahn named My Architecture.
