An announcement was made that a private Islamic television network will start broadcasting in Bangladesh.
The government’s Information and Communication Ministry has sent a letter to the television network authorities questioning the authority on which they made the announcement. Permission is required for television transmission in Bangladesh and this network did not get prior approval.
