At least 13 people, including two officials of the stateowned Petrobangla and their wives were killed and three other critically injured when a truck and a microbus collided head-on at Choitanya under Shibpur Upazila and Baghata under Sadar Upazila on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Narsingdi districton Friday. The accident took place at Baghata under Narsingdi Sadar Upazila at about 10:00 AM yesterday. It is learnt that a Sylhet-bound microbus, coming from Dhaka collided head on with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction. In another incident, seven people were killed and one was injured when a Sarail-bound microbus (Dhaka Metro Cha-14-0383) coming from Dhaka collided head-on with a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction at Choitanya under Shibpur Upazila at about 4:00 AM yesterday. In the accident, the microbus was badly damaged.
