The food minister of the Indian state of West Bengal Naren Dey says that the allegations that there are more ration cards in West Bengal than the total population of the state is clearly unfounded.
He spoke on this issue in the state assembly of West Bengal giving a statistics of the total population of West Bengal and the total number of ration cards and proved that the there were fewer ration cards than the population .
