One of the biggest commercial banks in India, the United Bank of India has announced that after 14 years , it has brought a profit to the government . The amount of profit is nearly six hundred million Indian rupee.
In a press conference in Kolkata , P K Gupta , the Chairman and the Managing Director of the bank said on Saturday that the net profit of the bank in the last fiscal year was over 2 billion Indian rupees.
Mr Gupta also said that they are taking some important measures to improve the banking service.
