Professor A K Azad Khan , the Secretary General of Bangladesh Diabetic Association recently joined in a Conference at the Yale University .
In an exclusive interview with our New York correspondence , Professor Khan says having joined the conference he feels very optimistic particularly because of the programs that they have taken which would bring a new life to the children of Bangladesh.
He also said that programs of Bangladesh Diabetic Association have increased the awareness about diabetes amongst the general people of Bangladesh. He adds that while in the government hospitals , there is no way to do the follow up treatments of diabetes , the Diabetes Association in Bangladesh does it.
