A train has plowed into a bus at a railroad crossing in northern Bangladesh, killing at least 33 people and injuring at least thirty others.
The collision happened on Tuesday in Jaipurhat district, more than 200 kilometers from the capital, Dhaka.
Media reports say the bus tumbled into a ditch after it was hit by the train. The reports say all of the dead had been on the bus. Initial reports say the level crossing was not manned.
It was not immediately clear how many people were on the bus or if gates protected the crossing.
