The fourteen party opposition alliance led by the Awami League announced on Friday a series of preparatory programs, including a rally in Dhaka, to wage a greater movement to push for its reforms proposalson election commission and the caretaker government issues. The leaders of the opposition alliance at a meeting of the liaison committee finalized the program.
They include six-day march programs — from Tongi to Mohakhali on July 25, from Jatrabari to Kanchpur on July 26, from union to upazila across the country on July 27, five-kilometer march in district headquarters on July 28, from Zinjira to Muktangan on July 29 and from Amin Bazar to Russell Square on July 30. The coordinator of the opposition alliance and general secretary of Awami League , Abdul Jalil announced the program at a briefing after the meeting.
