Grassroots level leaders, activists and supporters of the Awami League (AL)-led 14-party alliance convened their road march (padajatra) from their respective Union Council offices to upazila headquarters across the country.
Thursday, the third day of the six-day road march program, was peaceful. Thousands of opposition activists participated in these marches.
They demanded immediate implementation of the opposition proposal for the electoral reforms and reorganization of the Election Commission after the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners.
