Dr Kantahi Suphamongkhon, the foreign minister of Thailand is now in Dhaka for a two day visit in Bangladesh. He made a courtesy call on Prime Minister Khaleda Zia.
In the afternoon he held a bilateral meeting with M Morshed Khan, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh where they discussed on increasing trade and investment and simplifying the Visa process.
They also signed a cultural exchange treaty. After the meeting the ministers addressed a press conference. The ministers informed the reporters that from September Thai Airways will take over the management of Chittagong Airport
