British police are reported to have found several martyrdom videotapes - apparently recorded by suspects held in connection with the alleged plot to blow up U.S.-bound passenger aircraft.
The British Broadcasting Corporation reported Friday that police sources said the tapes were found on laptop computers belonging to some of the suspected suicide bombers. British authorities declined to comment on the report.
Police are questioning 23 suspects in the investigation of the alleged plot to blow up as many as 10 jetliners en route to major U.S. cities, including Washington, New York and Los Angeles. Hundreds of officers from across Britain have been sent to London to assist in the terror probe. Officials say airline service is back to normal at most major airports, but security measures imposed following the terror threat was uncovered will remain in place until further notice.
