President of the newly formed Liberal Democratic Party, Dr. Badruddoza Chowdhury in this interview with Voice of America, said that his party believes in liberal democracy.
He said that they are in politics to take responsibility not just to be in power. He feels strike or “hartal” should not be an alternative for opposition party because it is harmful for the country's economy.
Dr. Badruddoza Chowdhury blamed the ruling party for pushing Bangladesh towards a constitutional crisis.
