The Ministry of Home Affairs suspect that Ulfa is behind the two blasts in Guwahati on Sunday.
There was a high-level meeting of senior Army, intelligence and ministry of home affairs officials, chaired by home secretary V K Duggal, on Monday when they discussed the offensive measures against the outfit in wake of the twin blasts. Home Secretary Duggal said that so far there was no firm confirmation but certain leads suggested that Ulfa was behind the attacks.
