Eight people died and 35 others were injured in a bus collision on the Cox's Bazar-Chittagong highway in Chakoria upazila on Thursday.
Police and witnesses said the accident occurred at about 8:30am when a Chittagong-bound coach of Saudia Paribahan from Cox's Bazar collided head on with a Cox's Bazar-bound local bus from Chittagong at Harbang.
