The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) on Tuesday asked the government to frame a concrete program supported with adequate financial aid for the economic, social and educational development of the Muslim community.
In a recent report by the Rajinder Sachar Committee it was said that the Muslim community faces inequities. The CPM is saying that in light of the Sachar Committee report, the central government must frame a concrete program backed with adequate financial allocations to address the discrimination faced by minority communities, in particular the Muslim minority community.
