The Awami League president, Sheikh Hasina, on Thursday said she would endorse all decisions and activities of the interim government if her party was voted to power in the next general elections.
‘There is nothing to be worried about the activities of the present government and we will ratify its decisions if we are voted to power,’ she told reporters at the Zia International Airport before leaving for the United States Thursday morning on a month’s trip.
Hasina claimed that as the interim government was arresting big thieves and corrupt persons she saw no problems in approving its actions and decisions.
The Awami League President also demanded elections at the earliest after completing necessary reforms and ensuring a congenial atmosphere.
