Nirupam Sen, West Bengal’s commerce and industry minister has said that trade associations should be careful that investors do not not become concerned about investment in West Bengal because of land acquisition problems at Singur. Mr. Sen made the comment when he was addressing the annual general meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry (eastern region). He said that those giving land for industrialization should not be left out in the process of industrialization and development.
