The army-led joint forces detained former law, justice and parliamentary affairs minister, also former vice president in Ershad regime, Moudud Ahmed from his home at Gulshan on Friday.
After an overnight seige the forces picked up Moudud, also a member of the BNP standing committee, and seized 220 pieces of saris of the government relief fund, 16 bottles of foreign liquor and 32 cans of beer from his home.
